Dear Athletes,
We are now about two months away from the 5th Annual Xstream Expedition in Moab. We are looking forward to seeing all of you in September! Certification forms are now online as well as some additional logistical information for teams doing the race unsupported and using the shuttle service. Please refer to Update #1 for all of your event information, Dates & Deadlines, and event logistics. As always if you have any questions about the event please give us a call.
Appreciably,

Shipping your gear:
If your team wishes to ship your gear (Bikes, Gear Boxes, Etc...) via UPS to the race we recommend shipping it to Red Cliffs Lodge. Please call and make arrangements for the shipment with the lodge prior. 1-800-259-2002.
Unsupported/Shuttle Information: (cost $100.00 per person)
If you haven't been able to find a support crew person....
This service is limited to 20 teams. Registering for the service with your entry secures a spot. If you registered early you can email us to reserve a spot prior to the August 15th payment deadline. This service is on a first come first served basis as we can only accommodate a limited number of teams for the shuttle service.
For those teams that are doing this race unsupported you will need to provide one Rubbermaid Action Packer Gear Box maximum of one per person as shown. Gear Box size should be either the 35 gallon or 48 gallon size only. Gear boxes will be delivered to all supported TA's prior to your arrival during the race. These boxes will hold all of your gear, food, water, etc... for the race. Be sure that your backpacks are large enough to carry gear for more than one discipline...this will be the case for both supported and unsupported teams. All gear must be labeled with your team name and number. Additional, shuttle information will be provided at racer check-in.
Note: All gear must fit in your gear box with the exception of your kayak paddle and mountain bike. We recommend a paddle case if you have an expensive paddle, but a case is not required. You are not required to have a bike box, but can have one if you wish.
Ropes Certification:
Required for the event is a Ropes Certification. This certification must be turned in at Racer Check-in for your team to compete in the ropes portion of the event. Go to the "forms & certifications" page for details.
