Adventure Xstream Durango
AdventureXstream Durango will be a drastic change from the canyon lands of Moab . The course offers up world class single track mountain biking. Set in the beautiful back country of the San Juan Mountains, teams will test their mettle in the third stop in the AdventureXstream Series. So, come join us in Durango in June!
Disciplines Included for the Durango "Sport Course" (6-12hr) Adventure Race:
- Kayak (~10-15 miles)
- Mountain Bike (~25-35 miles)
- Trek(~8-12 miles)
- UTM Plotting & Map Navigation
- Ropes: Tyrolean or Rappel TBA
*Each disciplines distance is given as a range for training purposes. Exact distances are not given so that the course will remain secret. Disciplines, distances and difficulty subject to change.

- Mountain Bike (~40-50 miles)
- Trek/Rogaine (~25-30 miles)
- UTM Plotting & Map Navigation
- Ropes: Tyrolean or Rappel TBA
Approximate drive times to Durango from:
Albuquerque - 3.5 hours
Denver - 6.5 hours
Salt Lake City - 7 hours
Phoenix - 8 hours
Las Vegas - 10 hours
Unsupported (Tentative) - No Support Crews Required. Teams will do a gear drop.
Colorado Search & Rescue Card
All participants are required to have a Colorado Search & Rescue card to participate in any of the Colorado AdventureXstream events. This card costs $3.00 and is good for one year. This card will pay for any Search & Rescue cost in Colorado. These cards will be available for purchase at racer check-in if you do not have one already. Lodging:
Durango Mountain Resort will be the closest location for lodging for the event. Mention you are with the race to get a 20% lodging discount. Book your rooms soon as the resort will likely sell out this weekend. 1-800-982-6103 or 1-970-247-9000.

Volunteer Opportunities - Have family or friends coming with nothing to do? Put them to work. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the race. Volunteers who help for 8-12 hour shift receive a $100 race voucher that can be used by anyone. Have them fill out our volunteer application here.
The following forms and certifications are required for the Durango race. These forms must be brought with your team to racer Check-in the day before the race. Do not mail them to us.
